Prices for teak continue to climb and the closure of the Myanmar market has only accelerated the demand for alternatively sourced teak.  Furthermore, environmental concerns in Europe and North America, as well as the development of the Forest Stewardship Council’s (FSC) certification regime, are greatly increasing the demand for sustainably grown plantation teak.

Finca Esperanza has been planned, sited, and designed to profit from the changing structure and demands of the global teak market.
